Community Garden Centre

Sale Neighbourhood Houses’ (SNH) Community Garden Centre provides an opportunity open to Sale and surrounds, with a focus on community connectedness, lifelong learning, sharing, and an increase of social skills and networking abilities. Our Garden Centre provides various seasonal fruit and vegetables when available for community to help themselves too in addition of propagated plants available at a reasonable price. Our garden is also open to seed exchange, is managed and maintained by community members whom show leadership with their skills and knowledge.

With the aim to improve the lives of some of the most isolated people in Wellington by using the Garden Centre to increase learning and connection opportunities, through the powers of nature and social connection.
