Carer Activation Project

Do you care for a family member or friend?

We are helping community members who provide unpaid care for a family member or friend with a disability, mental illness, chronic health issue, addiction, or older person with care needs with support. We are launching a new program Carer Activation Project, to support the carers within our community. This program aims to support carers by building thei skills, confidence and reconnect them on their journey to achieving their goals.

The Carer Activation Project (CAP) is here to support you on your wellness journey and build your capacity to explore employment and study opportunities with confidence.

The CAP is facilitated weekly over 7 weeks. During the project you will undertake weekly wellbeing sessions, gain access to leisure activities, expand your networks/supports, have access to Digital Training provided by the lead providers in Gippsland and have mentorship to create outstanding resumes, cover letters, and tackle interviews with confidence.

CAP is fully funded and facilitated each Wednesday from 4/5/2022 – 15/6/2022 for 2 hours with the added bonus of catering.
