Our Community Garden Revamp

A Fresh Start for Our Community Garden!

Big things are happening in the Sale Neighbourhood House Community Garden! Our garden has always been a place of connection, learning, and sharing, and now, thanks to a fantastic revamp, it’s even more accessible and welcoming.

We’ve introduced new raised garden beds, making it easier for everyone to harvest fresh produce. The fruits and vegetables grown here are used in our Community Lunch, and we encourage the community to take home what they need.

Beyond fresh food, the garden remains a hub for learning and connection. It’s a space where people come together, swap seeds, share gardening tips, and contribute to a thriving environment. Our dedicated volunteers have played a huge role in maintaining and growing this space, bringing their skills, knowledge, and passion for gardening to the wider community.

With this revamp, we’re continuing our mission to support some of the most isolated people in Wellington, using the power of nature and social connection to foster wellbeing and lifelong learning.

We welcomed… (you can add specific names, events, or contributions here!)

Come visit the garden, pick some fresh produce, or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere—we’d love to see you there!
